O outono é a estação do ano que começa após o verão e precede o inverno. Por isso, é considerada uma estação de transição. No Hemisfério Sul e, portanto, no Brasil, o outono começa entre 20 e 21 de março, enquanto no Hemisfério Norte começa entre 22 e 23 de setembro. Algumas das principais características desta estação são a redução gradual das temperaturas, bem como a diminuição do tempo de luz diária.

Basically the solar heater circulates the water heated by the sun, the water is sent back to the pool and the collectors are filled again with cold water and the cycle starts again. Temperature control is carried out through a temperature differential controller (CTD) with two sensors, one measuring the temperature of the water in the pool and the other the temperature of the water in the collectors on the roof.
When the temperature differential between the two waters reaches the value programmed in the controller, the water is transferred through the pump and the already heated water returns to the pool, repeating this cycle throughout the day, until the pool water reaches the ideal temperature, reaching 5ºC to 10ºC above the ambient temperature.
